RedHead® 16'' Mountain Bear Socks for Men
Just as great as the Redhead Treestand Socks, but in a taller version perfect for rubber boots. They keep your feet warm and dry.
True Story: I got to the woods only to realize that I had forgot my boots (I don't put them on until the woods). Not wanting to miss a morning of hunting, I sat for 4 hours in below-freezing temperatures with these socks and my tennis shoes. Don't get me wrong, my feet weren't warm by any means, but they were comfortable enough to keep my mind on hunting and not on my cold feet.

best sock ever
Best sock I have ever worn. Good for hiking, wearing in wading boots. I even wear them with my running shoes sometimes if I go for a run and I don't want to wear long pants. They look a little funny, but when you pull them up over your calf they will stay there and keep your legs warm even with shorts. I even sleep in them when camping. They never feel wet or damp even if your feet sweat. Best sock I've ever purchased. Even bought some for my dad and a couple of friends. Highly recommend.

Socks fit great. I would recommend them to anyone that has problems keeping their feet warm. We have had weather below freezing, for over a week. I spend a lot of time outdoors. The socks kept my feet toasty warm

I rarely, if ever, have written a review. But I am so impressed with these socks I had to chime in...I bought these socks for 2 reasons...1 because they are thick and i wanted thick socks to wear under my rubber hunting boots...2 because they are 16 inches and I wanted socks long enough to keep the back of the boot off of my calf. These socks met both of those criteria. Here's the 'secret sauce' on these socks. I took a tumble and landed on my side in a big creek last week while headed to my hunting spot...30 minutes before daylight...28 degrees. I got wet to say the least...I could feel some dampness in the left boot as it was the only one that was submersed for a few seconds. The sock kept that foot warm...in spite of the dampness. I went to the local BPS to buy another pair and they're out...so I'm ordering more online. Best $17 dollars I've spent on hunting clothes in a long long time!
