Pros: look and feel are great. Leather quality and construction is good.
Cons: Whereas I say the construction is good, the design is anything but. The side zipper only opens a very short way, less than 2" side to side. The pull-on straps are for looks only, the do not extend above the top of the boot so there's nothing to grab hold of. Worst of all, I couldn't get my feet into them. The instep area works as a choke point that stops any further forward motion of the foot. I could'nt even get them on bare feet, so socks were out of the question.
I usually have good success buying 10W shoes and boots, but not this time.
On a positive note, BPS customer service handle the return like the true professionals they are. :)

Have had these boots for 3 years now. I got them to use as my motorcycle riding boots,and have worn them while riding over 20,000 mile. They are just now showing a little wear but are just broke in good and even more comfortable, I should get many more mile out of them

This is a great product. It not only works while hunting but can be worn with any clothes and anywhere.waterproof is great. keeps my feet warm even though its not insulated. had em for about a month or two now, been huntin' a few times in em and are still as good as new

I wear the boot every day since I got them for Christmas. I find them very comfortable. There was no need for break-in for me. They may be hot in the summer because they are Insulated. We will just have to wait and see.Answers

I wear size 11 in every type of shoe. And the sizing is pretty good. But my left boot was just a microsize smaller than my right boot. It was not enough to get upset about. It does not hurt my foot or anything. I hope it will loosten up after wearing for a while.

I have worn Red Wings and Georgia MudDogs in the past. The Iron Horse Wellington are much lighter than those. Even though the Iron Hose is a 12" boot, they are much lighter. I like that aspect.A:Â
