I have only had these boots for about three weeks and they are some of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I have an old pair of Wolverine boots that I bought many, many years ago and I didn't think anything would ever be as comfortable as they are, but these RedHead's are right there with them in comfort. I waited until Bass Pro ran them on sale before I tried them, but when I wear these out I will get my next pair immediately whether on sale or not. They were delivered a day ahead of actual scheduled delivery date. Bass Pro is first class and a great place to shop.

I actually give the boots 4.5 stars. I wear size 11 and sizing is pretty good. But the left boot is slightly smaller than the right. But not enough to hurt. I hope the left boot will loosten after wearing it a while. I have worn lots of Red Wings in the past. I have also worn the Georgia MudDog boots. So those are my boots of comparison to these. Iron Horse Wellington boots take no time at all to break in. They are very comfortable. They are very light weight. They slip on an off easily. I like the 12" tall boot. I have not tested whether or not they are waterproof. I also don't know how durable they will be. It is early in the purchase, but so far I like these boots.

There was absolutely no break-in time needed. They are very comfortable and dry. I have been in water 5 or 6 inches deep with no leaking. If you throw some polish on them they look good enough for a night out!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered these as a Xmas present for myself from my wife, go figure. I did a lot of shopping and I finally decided on these after trying a smaller size in the store. I ordered the next larger size delivered to the store. I am very happy with the boots, the insert is so soft and comfortable. I have a high instep and the zipper size is great for getting in and out of the boots.

I wear the boot every day since I got them for Christmas. I find them very comfortable. There was no need for break-in for me. They may be hot in the summer because they are Insulated. We will just have to wait and see.Answers
