Absolutely love the old school look of these leather boots, and they have so far proven very comfortable. I use camo in the bush as needed, but don't always like it as a fashion statement for everyday wear so the slight two tone distressed look of the leather on these is perfect. Haven't had a chance yet to hunt in them, but from what I've seen so far, will definitely work for their intended purpose of moose hunting in Northern Ontario and in the deer stand in November. Once I found the correct size, they were instantly comfortable and required zero break in. The footbed feels good and stable and the grip is excellent in wet and muddy conditions.
On the subject of sizing, these were sized a tad small, in my opinion which is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, for the extra hassle.
For comparison, I've worn a 10W in Irish Setters for almost 20 years and regularly wear 10W in a national brand of work boots. The 10W in these was a little too snug across the front, so needed to be returned for 10 1/2W which seem to fit just right. Cost me some extra $$ in return shipping and duty (in Canada) but still cheaper than gas running back and forth to the nearest store, and I picked them up both on sale and with free shipping to me, so all in all I still consider them a good buy. I hope that BPS doesn't drop these in from their selection, and if I thought they might, I'd definitely buy another pair and put them away for future.

I have had a pair of these boots for over three years. I usually start wearing these boots when muzzloader season starts and use them through the end of the hunting season, especially when it is raining or extremely muddy. They have excellent traction. They are very comfortable. My feet don't sweat in them and they don't leak. I use saddle soap on them before I start wearing them at the beginning of the season, and once the season is over, I clean them again with saddle soap and put them up unless I need them if it snows or if the weather is extremely wet. They wear great, are very comfortable, and the leather is good quality. I got them at the after christmas sale. They were on sale and I got the last pair they had which just happened to be my size. I have not regretted buying these boots. Good boots considering they are not made here. I try to purchase USA made products, but cannot justify $300 for a pair of boots where I live here in North Carolina. If I lived in an exreme cold climate I might get a higher priced boot, but these do the job, so far. I will purchase these boots again unless they quit making them or change them or cheapen them up. Get yourself a pair of these boots, you can't go wrong with these boots. They should last several years no more than I wear these. I will probably get a pair to wear when working outside in the winter. Basspro did good with these boots. I hope they keep them in the lineup. Good pair of boots.

I bought these as a birthday present for my dad. They ran small, and when we received it one of the laces were already frayed. They do seem well made other than that, and I'm sure will last a while.

I bought these last fall and I'm very pleased. They were true to size, though when I first put them on they were real tight on the sides. An afternoon wearing them and they fit right. They're very comfortable even after wearing them for 12 or more hours; they're waterproof; have good traction, and were warm on the single digit Virginia days. I've been wearing them all day today in a foot of wet snow, and I appreciated their comfort enough to write this review. These Red Head boots are a good buy.
