I wear these boots on a daily basis and they never let me down. You can't ask for a better boot for the money. The wear and tear I put these boots through is above average. I would rate these boots a 9

Very comfortable. I have worked in them were I have been on my feet all day on very rough terain.and my feet never tired. This is one of the best boots that I have had on my feet.

I buy boots at least twice a year. Ya I'm that rough on them. I've put these boots through more abuse than I should have and they are still like new. The boots were pretty much "broke in" when I bought them. The leather was as soft as glove leather. I was a dedicated Irish Setter man until I put these on. Now I don't want anything else!!!

This is my 6th pair of these boots. The last pair lasted almost 10 years. Most comfortable boots I have ever found for the price. 3 day deer hunt right out of box with no break in time .

I just wear mine they take care of themselves... Ive never put any waterproofing on them and my feet don't get wet... mud will brush off after it dries.

Keep your boots fairly clean, do not let mud crust on them for days at a time. Apply a leather conditioner that is safe for breathable materials (GORE-TEX) occasionally to keep the leather and waterproofing from drying out and cracking.Details:Â
Hello, I am planing to buy such boots for my father but he is living in France were the temperature in winter is below -15 celsius degre. Can he use such boots in that area?What is size 43 (european) in US size?

i would say yes it has got to -15 degress farenhite here in PA this year so they have kept my feet warmA:Â
Yes these boots would keep your fathers feet very warm in any weather, i would recomend insulated socks though. Also a 43 in european size is a 9 to a 9 1/2 in us shoe size.A:Â

Yes they do. I tried them on at the store and they are at least full size small compared to the size I usually get in gym or dress shoes. I also selected the wide size since it provided a little more room for my feet to breathe and to fit my liner and heavy wool socks intoA:Â

no they do not, i have worn a thirteen for about a year now and the thirteens fit perfectly.A:Â
They run just right in the smaller sizes (7-9), but from what I have heard from others, once you get up to size 10 they start running a bit small....best thing to do is wear your heaviest socks, and get sized by a shoemaker, then order your boots....if needed you can exchange for a half size up rather quickly through the stores or the online catolog.A:Â
I do think they run a tad bit small. I normally wear a 10 wide and tried this size on in the store. They felt a little tighter than I am used too, maybe because of the extra padding/insulation. I decided to order a 10.5 wide which they didn't have in the store when I was there.

No. The boots do not run small but if you plan on using thick wool socks you may want to consider getting a size larger then you normally waer1 of 1
