I have had a pair of these boots for over three years. I usually start wearing these boots when muzzloader season starts and use them through the end of the hunting season, especially when it is raining or extremely muddy. They have excellent traction. They are very comfortable. My feet don't sweat in them and they don't leak. I use saddle soap on them before I start wearing them at the beginning of the season, and once the season is over, I clean them again with saddle soap and put them up unless I need them if it snows or if the weather is extremely wet. They wear great, are very comfortable, and the leather is good quality. I got them at the after christmas sale. They were on sale and I got the last pair they had which just happened to be my size. I have not regretted buying these boots. Good boots considering they are not made here. I try to purchase USA made products, but cannot justify $300 for a pair of boots where I live here in North Carolina. If I lived in an exreme cold climate I might get a higher priced boot, but these do the job, so far. I will purchase these boots again unless they quit making them or change them or cheapen them up. Get yourself a pair of these boots, you can't go wrong with these boots. They should last several years no more than I wear these. I will probably get a pair to wear when working outside in the winter. Basspro did good with these boots. I hope they keep them in the lineup. Good pair of boots.

I bought these as a birthday present for my dad. They ran small, and when we received it one of the laces were already frayed. They do seem well made other than that, and I'm sure will last a while.

I bought these last fall and I'm very pleased. They were true to size, though when I first put them on they were real tight on the sides. An afternoon wearing them and they fit right. They're very comfortable even after wearing them for 12 or more hours; they're waterproof; have good traction, and were warm on the single digit Virginia days. I've been wearing them all day today in a foot of wet snow, and I appreciated their comfort enough to write this review. These Red Head boots are a good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by flushot70 i really like these boots
I bought these boots in sept. 2013 when it was still fairly warm outside. I wore these while temps were still in the 70's and didn't have issues with my feet sweating. I liked the boots the day i bought them but wanted to wait until the temps. Dropped to give an honest review. It is now Dec. In Michigan, I've worn these boots while hunting many times and have been very pleased with the results. On the days its going to be in the teens and I will be sitting in my tree stand I will wear a pair of wool socks and a pair of cotton socks and will be comfortable.
The last couple of days we are just starting to get our first snow of the year. We have got about 6-7 inches so far and the temps have been down in the single digits. I have been working to keep my drive way, the neighbors drive way, and just because I was enjoying being outside I have been plowing all the neighborhood sidewalks. Because I'm staying active I only wear a cotton pair of socks. These boots have been excellent. Warm, waterproof, and comfortable. I also like that the leather is somewhat soft but strong. I do occasionally use mink oil on them. Buy these boots!!! Thanks for reading.
