Rated 5 out of 5 by ...flashy popper.. ...like..i have two of these fishbaits...and other than the Gflash i find no difference to the original pop R i would slapp~on if i were lacking a popper butt..(i have hundreds)....no matter...it is a worthy part and i would easily score again...these catch alot...!!.. ...*a bait for the young ones to use...easy to catch with*... classic rebel with the added bonus of the Gflash to help the feesh see the bait... Rated 4 out of 5 by Rebel Great topwater bait. only issue is the paint does come off faster then it should. wish they made one in a bigger size pop-r with the same colors. August 12, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT LURE I use this lure for mainly bass fishing and it works like a champ i have color 56 i have been using this product for close to 6 months now and have always had a bit when i cast it out the first time i casted it out i jerked it twice and caught a nice 5 pound bass. Rated 5 out of 5 by A must gave for top water lovers I simply love top water and these make me very happy. They have great action and are easy to cast, even on heavy line with a good baitcaster rig to help reduce backlash. I replaced the hooks with Gamagatsu Red Hooks for a little better advantage. Not too much. There are different size options but it appears to be the same overall shape and profile.

The "Plus" has better hooks than the bronze finish hooks that the Pop R Original is equipped with.

Also there are more dramatic color patterns with the plus.

I hope this helps.

The difference between the Pop R and Pop R Plus is the Pop R Plus features Rebel’s famous G-Finish, which accurately reproduces the reflection of actual fish scales. High-quality XCalibur TX3 hooks and a 3D eye .

I've never used this popper but use it like any popper....vary popping cadence and intensity until the fish answer the question for you...and can change during a day's fishing.
