Rated 5 out of 5Â by AsianSensation Great bait
Found one of these sitting on shore while I was fishing. Replaced the rusted hooks with large trebles. First lure ive caught fish with walking the dog. Never had much confidence in these lures, but this ones good. May be better than a spook. Paint does chip, but quite frankly that's just the sign of a lure that catches a bunch I f fish.

i got this in chartreuse ghost as a part of the rapala boxed set, and it's advantages are listed below.
however, i bumped it on a rock and it promtply got a nasty nick on it, just like that. if you buy this be extremely careful. keep it in its package until you use it. dont drop it on rocks oir concrete.
once it's out on the water, use braided line that is stronger than 10 pounds, or you'll lose this lure. i caught a whole line of fall muskies all over 25 pounds fishing this from my kayak, so it cathes fish. it is also suprisingly easy to walk this lure sitting down, with a spin cast rod. walking the dog didnt catch the muskies though.
to get surface feeding, vorcacious fish, cast it out, hold your rod tip high, and retrieve it as fast as you can.
i've tried it in saltwater in maryland in the bays, but haven't caught anything.

Is the size 13 too big for large mouth bass? What about northern pike?

A:Â
it isnt too big, but size 09 is great for freshwater. the large sizes are better for saltwater.walking the dog is also more difficult the bigger it is. use the burn baby burn technique when fishing this lure (any size) in the summer when the fish are voracious. hope this helps!

I've used the Magnum Walks on Trouts and Reds and they work fine. As long as the fish is aggressive you should have no problem catching them.A:Â
