Rapala X-Rap Pop Topwater Lure
I decided to buy this to see how it compared with the normal rapala pops. This lure has a lot better casting distance and a more consistant sound with ever snap. It even has a pretty good action if you decided to 'walk the dog' after it dives. Only issue I found is the time it takes for this lure to resurface. can not complain too much since the 4th cast brought in a 5lb Large Mouth. Not bad for a neighborhood retention pond.

Catches bass large and small
I use this lure near cover and often among or near lily pads. This lure catches bass, large and small. Watch out, the treble hooks love any weed on the top so be careful. If it's too weedy go with a weedless frog setup.

I think that this is a excellent lure because I have cached a couple bass in a short time, let me tell you that I as wearing my bass pro shops cap during the fishing hahahahaha.

Was excited to buy this lure, but disappointed by it's performance. It doesn't walk the dog well and dives under the surface. It's also hard to make a subtle blip with this lure, and the sound is inconsistant. It does make a nice good blurp, but it's not nearly as good as the skitterpop, save for the fact that it casts better. Maybe it will work better on heavier line, I was using 12 pound test. Best when an aggressive presentation is needed. Not as versatile as the skitterpop or poppin' image.
