  • Consistent depth control
  • Strong rolling action
  • Flutter action on drop
  • X-Style finish
  • Black nickel VMC® hooks
  • Hand tuned and tank tested
Since Rapala introduced the "CountDown" method back in the 60s, the technique has enabled anglers to consistently reach suspended fish at any depth. The X-Rap CountDown lure swims with a strong rolling action on the retrieve and then "flutters down" on the pause. The X-Rap CountDown's flat sides produce a hard flash. Standardized construction processes assure a consistent sink rate of one foot per second for repeatable depth presentations.
