Rated 5 out of 5 by jlouie Well worth the price
It is light weight and easy to carry. It will sharpen most knifes razor sharp. Have one well used cheap knife with nicks in blade, it sharpened the knife but would never shave. I am very satisfied with the sharpener and would buy another one when I need one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chockpish1 Nice hone!
Once you get an edge on your blade and you want to keep it nice and sharp, run it through this little hone a few times and it will bring back a nice sharp edge. Now if your blade is really dull, your not gonna bring it back with this sharpener, you will have to run on a stone, or file,or whatever you sharpen your blades with, but this hone will maintain sharp edge!
Tight lines, and be safe!

I also viewed another sharpening tool that was a few dollars more, and was just wondering what kind of material this item was made of.. and how long will it last before it wears out.Answers

I don't know what materials the stones are made of but this sharpener does a wonderful job sharpening our knives. The price is very reasonable also; and it lasts a long time even when we use it a lot.A:
I have one and the sticks inside appear to be ceramic. It works good if the knife is not too dull. Use it to touch up the blade periodically and it works great.Answers
