Rated 5 out of 5 by Best fillet knife around for that price!! Excellent Fillet Knife !! Super sharp,Flexible, Secure grip. May 15, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Handle is sub-par The blade itself is great and holds a sharp edge very well, but when it comes to the handle, the "metal" looking stopper is actually painted plastic, and inside of that catches a ton of fish scales and other things that end up getting stuck in there and smelling. The rubber grip material feels good though, I just wish that metal-looking plastic part was actually metal and prevented things from getting inside the grip. September 3, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rapala® Soft Grip® Fillet Knif Quality knife ... long blade suitable for salmon, steelhead, lake trout etc. May 27, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Finnish Quality I haven't even used the knife yet and the finish is coming off the bolster. Of course I assumed the bolster was metal from the Web site pictures, but it appears to be plastic with a silver paint coating. Also, it appears the entire knife was cheaply made in China and is not from quality Finnish steel that Rapala is known for. I think Rapala is making a huge mistake to place their brand name on cheap products like this. They will ruin their reputation for quality fast with products like this. If you want an inexpensive knife then it is OK, but it should just be clear what you're buying from the start. September 2, 2010
