Rated 5 out of 5 by Classic cold water crankbait Great early spring crankbait for Norfork and Bull Shoals. Targeting bass, but likely to pick up walleye, slab crappie, and White Bass. A little pricey, but noting compared to Lucky Craft or Megabass. Fish this from a boat and buy a lure retriever if you don't already have one. You need to throw this on spinning gear with 6 or 8 lb mono. I use a light action rod. April 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rapala Shad Rap I have used many crank baits over the years and always end up back to these. I don't know what it is about these baits but they always seem to catch fish. These and the original floating Rapala are my favorite hard baits. I have them in various colors. 1 1/2" and 2" are my favorite sizes. The only draw back is the Pickerel love them also. I have lost quite a few to those toothy critters. January 28, 2013
