Rapala Scatter Rap Crank
Very good crank
This crank bait does exactly what it is designed to do. It has a very eratic motion that is much different than the normal wobble that a crank bait has and it does not reel straight back to the boat which looks much more natural of a fleeing baitfish. I used this on 10 lb fluorocarbon and it seemed to get down to the right depth pretty well. I have caught many fish on this now in the bluegill color. definitely recommend it.

I used this lure, the scatter rap shallow, and the scatter rap shad and the fish just can't handle the scatter rap themselves. I've caught crappie, gar, pike, bowfin fish, catfish, and I even caught a trophy 10lb+ bass in a local pond. This lure helped me catch fish that I didn't even know was in my area. This is my go to lure on any given day

I bought this lure in the Caribbean Shad color with high expectations as I buy all of my Rapala crankbaits, but I have to say I am truly disappointed. The lure will go in circles and will dive about 7 feet and will sometimes circle on the surface like a buzzbait. This lure is probably defective because most Rapala lures don't handle like this.

fish catching machine
I'm wondering with some of the reviews if some of them are out of tune or something. For me, the thing ran just as advertised and caught some very nice smallies and large mouth bass. I had to crank it pretty fast on a 7:1 reel to get the best action but it never rolled over like some of the reviews. I could get it down around 7 feet with 15# seagar invisX with my rod tip down. It didn't hang up any worse than a square bill and I can get this thing deeper than a sq bill... I Will be getting more just wish they made one next size larger that would dive to 10'
