I have used Xrap 10 silver Rapalas for many years now in the Caribbean. Almost all fish of all sizes like to strike at them. Nowardays I attach stronger split rings and stronger size 2 hooks in order to land bigger fish such as Wahoo and large tuna. I seem to get far fewer bites on larger size Rapalas. I recommend the Xrap 10 to everyone as long as you make sure to stregthen them in order to land bigger fish.

this lure used to be only in freshwater but now they made it for saltwater. you better hang on.

Would this work for Bluefish and Striped bass? If so what is the best color?

Bluefish are not typically picky eaters but finicky stripers can be triggered into striking this lure if it is worked erratically and at the correct cadence.I prefer the black back and the blue back with spots to mimic a variety of baitfish.

If you are a "match the hatch" kind of guy like I am I would go between three patterns.(1) black back, silver: I really like the contrast, which makes it pretty visible in stained water. I also like the red coloration under the chin that looks like an injured baitfish and I believe this elicits strikes.
(2) Olive Green: Snook love greenies, enough said
(3) Spotted Minnow: I have had great luck with this pattern in the ocean, on the beaches, and in inlets. I find this pattern looks like small spotted trout, a bit like a sea run herring, and enough like a mackerel to do the job. I have not caught snook on this pattern but I have caught stripers, sea trout, jacks, and cudas.

integrated long casting systems are typically beads or bbs inside the lure that shift weight to the back of the lure causing you to cast it further.

This answer may be a little too late for your trip but to answer your question there is a magnetic steel ball that rattles on retrieve but attaches to the rear cavity during a cast.When the weight shifts to the rear and a smooth cast is made this lure really flies. It does not tumble in the air like many previous types of minnow baits.
I know a lot of anglers use the saltwater size for muskies and Northern pike so don't feel that this is a strictly saltwater or warm weather lure.

Not suspending thought it was but it does sink and swim while being reeled inA:Â
the hooks are a good size but i have caught some brim on it and yes it is suspending
