Took 5 of these babies in 3 different colors to the boundary waters. The smallies and occasional slimer just hammered these baits. The ones that survived the trip look like seasoned vets from the box!

Good product. Caught a decent size bass on first cast. The only downside is that paint on the nose area started to chip off after the first use.

Not sure how the one reviewer can say "bait has no weight buts casts fairly decent." That's a contradiction. Bait is plenty loud maybe too loud for my application b/c no hits yet. Great distance, vibration, flash. Looks just like a scaled sardine (pilchard), which is a favored live bait here. Flashes exactly like one also when jigged with rod tip on retrieve. Silent version might be good in circumstances-clear water, non-feeding fish, etc. Not currently in my box though.

Rated 4 out of 5 hot bait
This is one of my utmost favorite cranks. It has a totally different action on the drop, more of a level shimmy instead of nose diving. first timing using this bait it hauled in 4 smallies of the 2-5 lbs. range in less the 45 min...all while letting it drop on semi taught line. Vary the cadence of the rip and drop to find what the fish like more it can change from day to day even hour to hour.
