Rated 5 out of 5Â by fishingJP Works fine for me.
I purchased one of these for trip to Grand Isle. In haste I opened the package and disposed of the package along with any instructions. The scale was reading in metric I was not happy fortunately I had a converter app on my mobile device and was able to compensate. I did not have the battery problems as have been reported in 5 days of fishing. When I returned home I sent an e-mail to Rapala asking for directions to change the unit of measure I had a response the next day. I would have given this product a 1 or 2 star rating if not for that little bit of customer care I got today that service deserves a 5,

Only gave it a 1 start because you can't give it zero. Battery doesn't last 15 minutes.

Battery drains in one day with unit even off. used three batteries in three days, at $5.99 each, that decided to toss the scales.

Kills a battery in 1 day. What kind of world do we live in when you have to read a review before buying a fish scale!?
