The Rapala® DT® Series will dive faster and stay in the strike zone longer than any other crankbait. Only the DT Series lures are made from the top seven percent of select balsa wood. Perfectly consistent wood, combined with carefully placed internal weights, tapered fuselage and a thin tail to create the ultimate crankbait action. An ultra-thin polycarbonate lip digs the bait down quickly to the desired depth and creates a side-to-side, sound-emitting action that is only achieved by rattlin' balsa wood lures. Designed to fly like an arrow, the DT can easily be cast 150 feet. The further the cast, the longer the bait is in the strike zone. It's the most effective way to cover the water and catch more fish.
Rapala DT (Dives-To) Series Crankbaits
My friend hates these type of crankbaits, and usually only uses spinner baits or plastic worms. But I've caught a ton of big fish on these bad boys and know they can produce at the right times. They're a little pricey at $7, but nowhere near Lucky Crafts $17.99 cranks. The DT series are just some all around good crankbaits. I prefer using the DT-4 because I'm usually fishing ponds and sometimes a small lake (always from the shore) and I like that the DT-4 dives shallow enough to skim through top of the weeds without getting caught up too much in 'em. I've had luck with the firetiger(11), also bluegill(56) , and I usually replace the rear treble with a bigger treble, dressed with a feather. Rapala cranks have a good wobble and detail. The only bad thing about these baits is that the lip will break off if you slap the water to get weeds off. I broke 3-4 lips off these.

A very good purchase for the money.
The DT-10 is my number one cranking lure. I personal have catch more fish Large and Small Bass on this than any of the outher lure I use. I mostly fish in Eastern Tennssee Lakes.
Cherokee Lake 1st.
Douglas Lake 2nd.
Boone Lake 3rd.
The DT-10 is good on all of them.
