Great look to these lures, and well made. Cranks in like your pulling a plow though so it must be staying at depth for most of the retrieve just like advertised.
I like the lure but would not want to use it all day...even with a baitcaster it was a tug.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by spnplgrkenny my favorite deep trolling lure
I troll at least 3 days a week, 10 to 12 hours a day, and have for 25 years. I have tried every crankbait brand known, and the Rapala DT series lures are the most precise running lures I have ever used. I troll with the DT-10, the DT-16 and the DT20s, as well as the magnum 30s.Most lures must be tuned before trolling different speeds, but not the DT series lure. I highly endorse these deadly lures. I feel that they have no equal.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BASC Excellent Deep Runners
I have never been a good crankbait fisherman. Over the years I had tried several brands of deep running crankbaits, and rarely satisfied. This year I decided it was time to learn to fish crank baits. I standardized on the 20, 16 and 12 foot depth DT's generally fishing with 10 or 15 pound braided line. I have had very good success. I find that they get to depth and once there, I can fish them very slow and still stay on bottom.

The DTSS20 has been listed now, and crawfish is a color that should work for the DTSS20 in any water clarity.A:Â
You may have to call or go by your local bass pro shop. I have run in to the same problem. Sometimes they just don`t put all of the sizes on their site. A pain I know.Top 1000 Contributor

Be glad it isn't. The DT series is the worst product I have ever seen from Rapala (and they are my favorite bait company!) They are cheap and fall apart easily.A:Â
The DTSS20's will show up online soon. Please check back.A:Â
I bought 6 in the store.Answers
