RangeMaxx Pistol or Rifle Cleaning Pads
Don't wash it!
Bought this rifle pad a couple of months ago. Over time it got dirty as expected. I thought I remembered that the packaging said it was machine washable. Before I did, I went to my local Basspro shop and checked another one on the shelf. It said "Machine washable" right on the packaging. Well last night I threw it in the washing machine, delicate cycle and cold water to go easy on it. When I took the mat out of the washer, the plastic backing had totally separated from the felt pad. It is in two pieces now. Any hint of adhesive was gone between the two. I assume they had used a water based adhesive.

Need to have!
First off, this is a Redhead product, which as many of us know makes good quality products with affordable pricing. The main reason for me getting one of these, is to prevent gun oil from getting on the couch, dog, chair, wife, kids, table, and most importantly myself. I found the material to be perfect for a gun cleaning pad. The length of the rifle pad is more than enough, it can fit a gun that is 1foot by 2feet long, or a gun that is 1foot by 4feet long. However, I also found the width/depth of this gun pad to be some what small. Other than that it's nice. Overall, if you own and or use a shotgun, AR style gun, m14 m1a, bolt action or semi-auto action rifle, then this is what you need to get.

Rifle Cleaning Pad
I am very glad I purchased the rifle cleaning pad. It has plenty of room for your gun and your cleaning tools. The underside has a coating that keeps it from sliding aroung on the table, unlike that old towel that I used before. The coating on the underside also stops any oil from soaking through to the table underneath. This is a great product that just makes life a little easier.

I'm glad I bought this cleaning pad. It looks great on my gun table and has plenty of room for everything I need when I'm cleaning. I got the rifle size. Provides great padding for the firearms and plenty of space to work on.
