Waste of money I have had several pairs of these ear muffs. 2 of them have been defective either out of the box or right after using them a couple times. One just stopped working and the other has noise similar to an am radio and the sound cuts in and out constantly even at normal speech levels. The third pair is working so far, but I don't know for how long. September 30, 2013
Failed afetr 10 months I bought these 10 months ago and used them about 6 or 7 times and then they stopped working. Tried fresh batteries but no luck. I returned them to Bass Pro with the receipt and they exchanged them for me. I'm hopeful the new ones will last longer. So don't forget to save your receipt. February 22, 2012
Great Muff for the money It is a great muff for the money! Amplification is clear and crisp, and shuts down just like it should. It is not a $100 pair of earmuffs, but it does the job for me. I have used these with my boy on the range. They fit great and he can actually hear me when I talk to him. July 12, 2011
Does not fit This electronic headphone does not work with larger size heads. I wear an XXL size hat and this headphone does not come down over my ears. I cannot say how well it works. I returned it with no problem. I purchased the Walker game ears and they fit great. August 26, 2013

changing the batteries

I am trying to change out the batteries on my earmuffs, but I can't find any markings on the battery compartment that tell me the positive and negative ends. Can you please point me in the directions of an online version of the instructions for these can I can use them correctly?

The negative end of the battery seats on the coiled spring in the battery compartment.
