Advanced SlipCam™ rear blade deployment—no deflection! Standard mechanical broadheads tend to lose power quickly upon impact. With the SlipCam Rear Blade Deployment System, that's no longer a problem! Rage® Broadheads' streamlined profile provides the unerring accuracy and arrow speed of a field tip, but you also get the full deadly force of a fixed-blade broadhead! The machined aircraft aluminum body features HexFlat™ design for stable flight, with a stainless steel instant-cut tip. The cam-deployed rear blades follow the tip without grabbing or deflecting, even on an angled hit, and are guaranteed to deploy before entry, maintaining full kinetic energy. ShockLock™ system holds blades firmly in place (no more rubber bands). 100-grain. 1-1/2'' cutting diameter. FREE practice broadhead included.
Slipcam Rear Blade Deployment System keeps energy and power through impact on into the target
Accuracy of a field tip with deadly impact of a three-blade fixed blade broadhead
Machined aircraft-grade aluminum body
HexFlat design - stable flight with cut-on-contact stainless steel tip
Three cam deployed rear blades - no deflection, no energy loss on impact
No rubber bands to hold blades in place during flight thanks to ShockLock system
These replacement blades make your Rage broadheads like new again. Comes with blades, screws, o-rings, and the tiny allen wrench.

The only good thing about these broadheads is that they do fly the same as a field tip, other than that they let me down when it really counted. Out here in Cali hunting blacktails you have to be able to make 60 plus yard shots and at that distance the blades did NOT deploy. I stuck a nice buck last year at 41 yards, double lung, looked perfect, pass through shot and the Rage 3 blade didn't do its job it didn't deploy any of the blades. The arrow was covered tip to nock in good blood but the blades were tucked in just the way it left the quiver and I lost a nice buck . I since switched back to fixed blade thunderheads and have recovered everything since. I hope this helps because there is nothing worse than loosing game that you know you made a good shot on.

dont waste your money!!!!
This product failed time and time again for me I shot 2 deer with the 3 blade rage and didnt recover either one .Both shots i placed on this deer were great one shot was a little bit behind the heart into the lungs and was a pass through WITH THE BLADE NOT OPENED but we looked for 2 days not finding this deer ... So dont waste money I recommend the muzzy phantom the bloodtrail looks like a 5 gallon bucket full of blood was dumped..

Three blade Rage
The Rage three blade is hreat. I am shooting over 300 fps and it flies streighy and true. Shot it with the same arrows that I use for target shooting ad they required no sight change even at 40 yards. I was impressed.

No they don't go through netting that good, since they will even deploy in mid-air. If you want a broad head that can shoot through netting buy the T3 by G5. You just need to buy a stronger retention clip, which G5 sells for the T3. I'm more of a grim reaper person myself, but the T3 is a good broad head for shooting through netting and does a 1 1/2" cut.
I've shot these with no problems out of a crossbow, they come with a practice tip so you dont have to waste a broadhead sighting in. What I do is get close with a regular field point and do all the fine tuning with the practice tip.
I've tried both and currently use the 3 blade for more overall cutting surface. I've not had any problems, but the blades on the 3 blade can "physically" interfer with one another when deploying, where the 2 blades cannot. Again, I haven't had that happen but the blades on the 3 blade do overlap, so I guess it could.
The advantage I see in 3 blades is the extra cutting diameter. Not in overall tip to tip cutting distance, as the 2 blade is larger when measured in that fashion, but the extra blade might catch vitals on off angle shots where theoretically a 2 blade could slide by without hitting vitals. Do I know this for sure - no - however I am not willing to bet on it either.
In my opinion they both work well. It mostly depends on what you want. I just feel more comfortable using three blades over two.

its a preferance thing. some guys i know say three fletching, three blade. in my opinoin whatever causes the most devistation, flies accurate, and is easy to tune is the best. try the rage . they rock. super easy to use and shread through bone tissue engin blocks. just kidding on that last one but i think you get what i was saying
I bought a pack of these and I can't wait to use them. However I may be doing some hunting out of a ground blind and was wondering if I could shoot these safely through mesh? Will they open when they hit the mesh or not? Thanks a lot. God bless and good hunting.
I hunt quite a bit from a ground blind, but cannot tell you if it will open. I usually open 2 or 3 shooting holes before I start my day, just to be on the safe side. I know, that fixed blades with cut the mesh and fly true, but dont know on these.
Do not shoot these through mesh the rage broadhead opens very fast you can go to there web site and watch a video. This goes for all mechanical broadheads. Fixed blades will work for close shots 20 yards and under stay away from fixed broadheads with curved blades when shooting through the mesh.As always practice first.
