Radians ProAmp E-Muff, $89.99 I purchased these to aid with my hearing while hunting and to use for ear protection. I had a hard time getting the batteries in, turning the volume knobs and they did not have a silence mode for when you shot?? After a while of using them you would hear a bussing. Seemed like the right side worked better than the left. I paid more in hopes to get a better product. I returned them to Bass Pro and purchased a set of Alpha 360 walkers - much better all the way around! ProAmp is a waste of $$ January 9, 2014
did not work One set of earmuffs amplified just fine, but did not suppress loud noises--not what you want when shooting a rifle. I ordered two pair and since one didn't work, I didn't even open the 2nd pair. Maybe it was just one defective pair...I don't know. We have other, higher quality Radians earmuffs that work just fine. Did not work The electronics on one side did not work. Bass Pro also sells this same pair under the Redhead name. Tried those too and they had a loud buzz/hum. Disappointed that Bass Pro sells such an inferior product. April 7, 2012
Good buy I've used these 4-5 times now. They are built nice and have a very good adjustable head band. I could use a slightly larger diameter ear cushion though. They are low profile enough to not get in the way and allow a good cheek weld. The audio has a little hiss but nothing too distracting. Amplification is good. It's strange at first to be able to hear so well with earmuffs. The headband is very tight so you'll want shooting glasses with thin legs or it'll hold the earmuffs away from your ears and let in too much sound. April 3, 2011

Thin is a relative size. They are thin enough without the usual bulk. In cold weather I do where them under headgear with no problem.

Muffs are standard thickness, but head band is very thin and stays low and out of the way.
