These earmuffs feature a behind-the-head design that allows you to wear your favorite hat with your ear protection. Earcups have foam-filled, cushioned padding that allows for comfortable wear, even with shooting glasses. Their lightweight, low-profile design will not interfere with your gunstock. Noise reduction rating (NRR): 19.

I have a large head, so with that said...I must say that I absolutely hate these hearing protectors. I got them, tried them on, and they are very uncomfortable to say the least. The gimpy wires that hold the ear cups on are loose (at least mine were) and they do not hold the setting you choose. In fact, the wires that hold the cups, actually came out of the mounts...TWICE, and proceeded to poke my face and scratch my skin. I stretched them, but the wire frame still intends to imbed in my skin no matter how I adjust them. The frame will not hold it's position. I will not be using these at the range. They just DO NOT work for me. Waste of money!

Fit: Good - easy to wear a ball cap and glasses with these.
Construction: Okay/delicate - muffs pop off the metal holders if you're not careful.
Hearing Protection: I would recommend wearing these over ear plugs for proper hearing protection.
Overall: Good for the price

These fit really well on me, very snug around the ears. I can wear these with my hat and shooting glasses with no problems and I like that they're a little lower profile than some of the other cheaper pairs I've seen. Only an NRR of 19 but I always wear with inner ear plugs anyway so for this price I love 'em!

witch noise reduction protects hearing best high NRR number or low NRR number ?? thanks ken have a GREAT day !!!Answers
A:Â
The higher NRR the better protectionA:Â
A higher NRR decibel (dB) rating means a greater amount of noise reduction. For example, an earplug with a noise reduction rating of 29 dB provides more protection than an NRR 25 earplug.1 of 1
