Favourite .177 pellet!
I have tried brands from Crosman, to Gamo, and even H & N, none compare with these pellets. Though they cost more than most pellets they are definitely worth the money. Dead accurate, and groupings no bigger than 1/2 an inch from 30ft. away. Of course I don't recommend them for just plinking, but that is just as well a good use. They work good on my Beeman, and the other guns I've shot. Also they are made in Germany, so you know there good quality. Good Luck!

RWS Super point pellets
Great quality, good price. I will buy these again. Not a bad one in the can. Slip fit lid keeps falling off but small price to pay.

best pellets for the money
I am relatively new to air rifles, but I have tried the Gamo PBA Raptors and these because they are lead have a much less racket than the PBAs in my Gamo Whisper, and from my opinion are more accurate.

The most accurate pellet for my .22 air rifle. I have
6 brands and 14 different styles of pellets. The rws
superpoints out shoot them all at any range. If I could only have one pellet this would be it. They are
worth more than what you will pay for them.

Yes, it contains lead, but don't let that discourage you from buying them, they are amazing. Just wash your hand's when you are done shooting. As for the second half of this question, I recommend H&N Field Target Trophy Green .177 pellets. They are 100% lead free. Hope this helps, Good Luck!
Yes these are lead pellets, there are many good pellets out there made out of alloy, but their are a few downsides to that. First of all they are often more expensive. Also they often fly faster which creates more sound. Unless you have small children or don't like to wash your hands after handling them, there is really nothing to worry about with the lead pellets.
These are definitly lead. RWS makes very soft lead pellets. Not sure of any manufacturer that makes a different material. I recall a while ago Benjamin had a plastic cylindrical pellet with a metal tip on it and not sure if those are still available. Good shooting and stay safe!
