This is what a weapon should be. Balanced, reliable, on the mark accurate out of the box without the scope. I have fired other air rifles and none compare until you pay several hundred dollars more. The RWS 34 is well worth its price. It is more quiet than even the newest Gamo Whisper models, and more accurate out of the box. The RWS 34 is a bit heavier. It feels more like a real rifle. The difference between this and other comparably priced air rifles is apparent in its craftsmanship. Pellets fit more snugly when seated. the Trigger is very crisp with repeatable pull every shot. The RWS 34 is known as the Diana. Perform routine maintenance as recommended and it will perform flawlessly.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by M22pcp Too much recoil
Just get a PCP instead
absolutely no recoil, very accurate
Save yourself some time, money and returns
Any PCP is better than this.
All of the Marauder line is very good
.177 target shooting - 10 lb fpe
.22 small game with hollow points - 22 lb fpe
.25 best gun for all, especially small game -
humane kills - 40 lb fpe and has Green Mountain barrel - it is a better barrel sorry Crosman

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BIGSIMOND Excellent .22 Airgun
This rifle exceeded anything I expected. Installing the scope was a breeze, and it took a total of 4 shots to zero it in at 25 yards. It does take a fair amount of strength to cock, but the effort is rewarded with power and accuracy. It is quiet, and absolutely lethal on squirrels.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by WSBK03 OUTSTANDING ACCURACY
I purchased the RWS Model 34 Combo in .22 caliber and could not be more pleased with its accuracy. I shot approximately 250-300 rounds with the open sights prior to mounting the scope to allow for some break in. It's accuracy with open sights was impressive but it really shines with the scope mounted. At 15 yards it will shoot a 5 shot group consistently the size of a nickel from a sand bag rest using RWS SuperDome Field Line pellets.
In my opinion the directions that came with the RWS "C" Scope mounts could be a little more user friendly. As they function differently than a standard type scope mount it takes a little studying to figure them out unless you have used this type mount before.

I personally prefer the Gamo Rockets or PBA ammo. The PBA ammo isn't the best ammo to use because it can damage your gun after a lot of shooting , but occasionaly is alright. If your gun isn't very powerful try something a little lighter than the Rockets like Premier Hollow point pellets. It all comes down to what works best for you , and what you are shooting at.1 of 1
