ROCKY Prowler Waterproof Snake Side-Zip Hunting Boots for Men
Could be better!
After researching several snake boots I chose these by Rocky. I will say initially I realized they were not the most comfortable boot I've worn, but okay to walk 1/2 mile into my stand without much of an issue. I'm not sure how they hold up to a snake bite but I'll say they don't hold up well at all to water. My feet are soaked after walking into my stand through dew. Guess I'm concerned that if they don't stop dew, how will they stop fangs? You likewise will not be able to zip the zipper if you have large calfs, I gave up on that after the first 2 min of trying them on. Other than waterproofless nature of these boots they are otherwise good boots which is why they get 3 stars.

Disappointed Twice by Quality
Bought one pair. Good fit and comfortable but sole separated on right boot at heel after about 6 months use. Boots were replaced with no hassle by BassPro. Second pair experienced sole separation at ball of left foot after about a year. Clearly these boots have a quality problem. Will not bother to complain this time and will buy a better grade boot in another brand. No more Rocky's for me.

I bought a pair of these last spring. The rubber sole at the front of the boot came loose the third time I wore them. I used shoe goo adhesive to try to glue it back in place. It didn't stay. I wore them this deer season and the front piece finally tore completely off. This rendered the waterproofing useless. I should have returned them this spring. I usually like Rocky products but these are poorly made.

Rocky Snake Boots
I received these boots as a gift. I have used these in the mountains and in the swamps. I have stomped for hours in them. I think the only thing I would change is to have lace ups. One or two times I thought I was going to loose them in the mud/water......
