Got them in two days after ordering em, already broke in. Only down fall I have bigger calfs then most so Velcro and zipper are hard to fassin together, other than that super like and really are waterproof unlike most boots say they are.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Dondondondondon Rocky Maverick is better than Prowler
I hunt in South Texas where rattlesnakes live...and snake boots are a must.
The Maverick boot is a far superior boot design over the Prowler boot. There is no need for the zipper are the Velcro. Velcro is noisey.
The boot is a little to high (1/2 inch to 3/4 inch). please request to Rocky to bring back the Maverick.

Love these boots. Comfortable. Easy on/off. Water tight.

Came to the house in Record time. Fit perfectly and wear great. Very comfortable. Sure makes me feel a lot safer during warm weather bow season in the South. Hope I don't have to test to see if they really work.

What materials are used in the lowers and uppers of these boots? Is this all neoprene or some other rubber? Or do they have nylon uppers?Answers
A:Â
CanvasA:Â
These boots have EVA soles with nylon uppers and lowers with a leather accents. Nylon provides a very good abrasion resistance. However, I've experienced leaks at the adhesive joints around the soles. Returned mine and will be getting some other brand with better waterproofing.A:Â
Nylon uppers. If you have larger calves, you may want to stay away from this boot1 year, 6 months ago

Any tips for breakin? The top of the boot is all the way out and still tight / difficult to zip all the way up.

I haven't actually worn them for more that a few minutes...just bought them today. Just wondering if anyone else had feedback on similar issues.Answers

On new boots, I usually do a couple of things to ease the pain of the breaking-in period. First, I always buy boot cushion liners (usually Dr. Schols); and, second I wear thick 100% cotton socks if I'm going to be doing a lot of walking; and, 3rd, I take Scent Shield bar soap and lub the zippers. After about the third or fourth wear, the boots are broken-in, but I keep the boot cushion in as long as it last.
A:Â
just wear them for a day. i got mine took them out of the box and wore them everyday for a week bear hunting and they are very comfortable now and loose along with easier to zip upA:Â
You can forget the break-in. The material is just too tough. Mine are/were very tight around the leg. Too tight in fact.As for the zipper, mine got stuck at the top of the boot the second time I wore them. I had to break the zipper to get out of the boot.
A:Â
Might try putting some Chapstick on zippers. Plain kind w/o smell. Zippers were stiff but this helped some. Wear double socks for first couple times to avoid potential hot spots!A:Â
Mine where stiff for a week of everyday use in my first deer season of hunting but broke in after that and three years later I still love them!!A:Â
I wore mine all day unzipped and sprayed the zippers with pam cooking sprayAnswers

Explore the internet to find a size converter for women's to men's sizes. Typically a woman's size is 2 sizes larger than men's. Therefore, a woman's 6 would likely be a men's size 4.A:Â
