Due to a broken ankle I needed a boot with soft sides that would not rub against the screws they put in my ankle to hold it together. and I needed a boot that was warm, because cold causes a lot of pain. I was very pleased with this boot, It was better than I thought it would be. Not only warm with soft sides, it was very well made and water proof too. I wish I would have Bought this style boot when I was able to hunt. I am sure it would proform in the field too. It is a very comfortable for a long day in the woods, or on your feet.
