I have been buying and wearing Rocky boots exclusively for more than 20 years. Over the last 4 years I have seen an incredible decline in quality. I first bought these boots in September 2012. The glue holding the sole of the boot allowed the sole to peel free in December 2012. I exchanged them for another pair of these boots. This is the the middle of January 2013 and the sole has already begun to come free. What terrible workmanship. Maybe Rocky should consider other materials or not outsourcing to Dominican Republic. This will be my last pair of Rocky boots.

just used them for the first day of deer season. It was around 29 degrees out, kept feet warm and dry all day. Walked thru water and mud, no mud stuck to soles. Feet hurt a little need too be broken in.

I bought a pair of these to replace another pair of Rocky boots I have been using for over 10 years. The old ones finally gave out, and since I had really good luck with Rocky in the past I decided to buy these.
I was reluctant to spend this much on a pair of boots, but I did so anyway, and am I ever regretting that decision. I've worn them three times this deer season and I have such blisters on my heels that it has all but ruined my hunting trip!
As soon as I get back from my hunting trip, if I can still walk, I will be returning these to Bass Pro! They are the worst pair of boots I have ever owned, and this will be the last pair of Rocky boots I will every buy!

" I purchased a pair of rocky boots in 1999.
It is not until this year , 2010 that I must replace them. In my opinion , this is one of the best boots that I have ever worn. I would put them up against a Danner boot anyday!
Very comfortable and still ecomonically priced.
When shopping for a boot , you DO get what you pay for from Rocky.
