ROCKY® 9'' Prowler Elite Waterproof Insulated Hunting Boots for Men
I have been a rocky/gortex boot fan for nearly thirty years, until now. I bought the first pair of prowler boot and it began tear at the heel in less than 6 months. I returned them, trading for another pair. those began to leak along the sides, so I traded for another pair. guess what? they are just as bad. I've always bought the cornstalkers , maybe it is just this boot. it doesn't say gortex on it, just waterproof. I swear i think it is soaking through the material.maybe that's the difference. either way will not recommend this boot! only good thing I can say is it is comfortable. and t will wash your socks for you if you get them wet.

Great boots, highly recommend
I've always preferred Rocky boots for patrol work so I thought I'd try them for hunting too and I'm glad I did. I bought these at the beginning of hunting season and they performed flawlessly. They took a little time to break-in around the house but they're lightweight, warm, and absolutely waterproof, I found that out while deer hunting. I had the advantage of buying mine in the store and trying them on with heavy wool socks and other reviews are accurate.. buy a 1/2 size larger.

I have bought Rocky boots many a time over the last 20-30 years, but I'm disappointed in these. I was out deer hunting this past season, with a steady drizzle and light rain. Temperature was in low 40's. At the end of the day my feet felt damp. I thought I over dressed with 2 pair of socks and my feet were sweating. Took off my boots and both pair of socks were pretty wet. Didn't really walk in any hit water or puddles. Basically got wet with the overhead rain. I can't really bring myself to buy another pair of Rocky boots.

Buy a 1/2 size larger!
They seem pretty comfortable and warm but they fit very tight even though they're not laced tightly. I bought a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear and it was a good call. If I bought the normal size 11 I wouldn't be able to get them on over heavy winter socks. The thick padded inserts are removable so you can use a thinner gel or padded insert if you wish.
