ROCKY® 9" Prowler Elite Waterproof Insulated Hunting Boots for Men
Great boots, highly recommend
I've always preferred Rocky boots for patrol work so I thought I'd try them for hunting too and I'm glad I did. I bought these at the beginning of hunting season and they performed flawlessly. They took a little time to break-in around the house but they're lightweight, warm, and absolutely waterproof, I found that out while deer hunting. I had the advantage of buying mine in the store and trying them on with heavy wool socks and other reviews are accurate.. buy a 1/2 size larger.

$ well invested
I bought these boots a few weeks ago, wore them around the house to get them broke in a little. very comfortable i have flat feet and many shoes/boots hurt my "non-arches" these boots did not cause any discomfort at all! I am impressed. I wore them hunting today, all day in the woods 40 - 50 degrees warm and comfortable, as per previous revues i ordered them 1/2 size larger but would recommend 1 full size if you wear thick insulated hunting socks. @ this point very happy with these boots!!!!!!!!!!!! I will see how they do when it gets cold and update. P/S I am a diabetic also, foot wear is important to me!

wore them for the first time this weekend. four inches of snow and 2 miles later, my feet were warm and dry, and not hurting. very short break in time. works well with warm socks. make sure to buy one size bigger than you normally wear.

I always have loved Rocky brand boots. This is my fourth pair - I still have two other pairs. This pair is light as a feather, nice and warm and I like how high they come up my leg. Great for outdoors in the winter. The 800 grams of insulation really keeps my feet warm. One of my other pair of Rocky's have 1400 grams and they are great also.

i believe they would. i messed my ankle up pretty bad a few years back and these give great support but still enough give to allow good mobility without wearing you out. I found with some boots that gave god support that my ankle would start hurting after a while because of the amount of strength it took from my ankle to lift and bend my foot in the boot. I own this boot and feel it has the best all around feature functionality of any boot i have tried. the traction, support, fit, warmth and weight are excellent for wearing on long walks or hikes in areas where the ground is far from level. I wear these boots every day i am in the woods, not just the days i hunt, because of the comfort and how light weight they are. the only thing i would change is i would make a second boot option in the same boot 9 inches higher in a snake boot because these are everything i want. hope this helps....
