Currently using slickshooter as running line for my scandi setup. It is working very well and there was little to no adjustment period from standard running line to mono slickshooter. Using 35lb for scandi setup and planning on using 50lb for skagit in the future. If line developes memory you just need to remove head and allow slickshooter to dangle downstream out of your reel and unwind itself. Great running line!

Yes slickshooter is a totaly level running line designed for spey fishing with a scandi or skagit shooting head. It is exactly what is says, low water retention and low memory (coiling). If memory becomes an issue remove the head and allow the slickshooter to dangle downstream in current and it will unwind itself. For me the adjustment from a standard running line to mono was nonexistent. It felt good in the hands and allowed me to ad 20 feet to my casting easily. A friend suggested it to me and I will never go back to a standard running line. Also can't beat the price.Hope this helps
Happy fishing
