RIO® MainStream® Saltwater Fly Line
RIO's high-performing MainStream Saltwater Fly Line is an all-purpose saltwater fly line perfectly suited for fly fishers fishing in temperate-to-tropical conditions for multiple species. This weight-forward floating fly line features a hard tropical coating that will not soften in the harsh tropical heat. RIO's MainStream Saltwater Fly Line is designed similar to the RIO Clouser line where a reverse compound taper and bullet front taper allows anglers to effortlessly turn over big, heavy flies into the wind. Length: 90'. Color: Light Blue.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by snookplus line won't shoot
i bought a new 8 weight rod and a new reel to handle 8 weight line for saltwater fishing [snook and redfish]. obviously, you need a bigger rod and to shoot a lot of line with that type of fishing.
this line won't shoot. it is way to light. extremely difficult to cast, much less shoot. i confirmed the line was the problem by changing reels/line and found the rod cast fine and could shoot all the line i needed.
i'd like my money back on the line.

Good casting line. false casts easy, loads rod easily. Bought some of this for my 8 wieght Reddington fly rod for backcountry/inshore saltwater fishing and the 8 wt. Mainstream line really matches the medium taper rod action well. I was pleased at how far I can shoot this line. A+++
