Worked great for what I needed. Made up a 3 rod gang on a board and attached to the stern gunnel.

The rod holders didn't fit the base without filing and cutting some untrimmed plastic from the groove. I took it up with Ram. Thery checked into it and said it would be fixed but they didn't send me 1 side mount for my trouble which disappointed me as I could have shipped all 6 I bought back. Not very pleased.

a friend mounted some on the railing of his pontoon boat and ut works well.A:Â
If the pontoon rails are 2" square aluminum tubing, yes, it comes with 4 SS screws. On a 1' round railing, use (2 1/2" L X 2" W) "U" bolts. Other size rails you'll have to improvise.Details:Â
I am wanting to order two of these with a flush mount. You give the individual item numbers but you don't give a way to match the item number with the products in the picture. Does the price of 24.95 include the mount with the holder or do you have to order the holder and mount seperately?Paul

The $24.95 includes a mount. Look at the description. You can either order the holder with the side mount 38-457-000-00 or the flush mount 38-457-002-00. The other mounts are so you can move your holder to other parts of your boat/kayak. Example, I'm going to order one rod holder with the flush mount and install it on the back of my kayak to troll with but I'm also going to install another flush mount holder on the front of my kayak in case I ever want to use it there.A:Â
