I use this mount to hold a handheld Garmin Oregon on my bass boat. I was a little apprehensive at first, placed the GPS in the mount prior to installing and pretty much shook the heck out of it trying to shake the GPS loose. This mount held on tight and my GPS was firmly in place. Installed the mount next to my fish finder unit at the console and after many trips using it my GPS is safe and sound. I am purchasing another to mount up front at the trolling motor.
