this mount in great. i mounted it on my Ascend fs12 and it works perfect. when i stand up in my yak it's great to be able to adjust my depth finder in a second. made real solid so i know it will last me a life time.

I am a kayak angler and compulsive product researcher when it comes to something I plan to purchase. I found both glowing reviews on the Hummingbird 170 fish-finder matched with a terrific price at Bass Shops here in Southwest Florida. The icing on the cake was talking to a very knowledgeable sales person who helped seal the deal.

My answer is a little late, but "yes", it will and it works just great. My only problem was that the lower base of the mount was a little wider than the area I wished to use for mounting it on my Hobie Revolution Kayak, so I side mounted it down along the inside edge of the left side storage trough. Works great and I can also tilt it outward to get the fishfinder out of the way when I need so extra room.A:Â
