This is the standard Ram Ball Mount and it works just like a charm.
Like all Ram products it is overpriced but there is no competition.

I used this to mount my new fishfinder on the top rail near my kicker motor. Best thing made for the RamMount system. I was able to put my sonar unit exactly where I could see it up close and out of the way. Best of all, no more holes drilled in my boat!
