Rated 2 out of 5 by DuckHuntr Poor Quality, Good Idea
I bought 2 of these, a Drake and a Hen just before this season started. The drake failed after about 5 minutes. The hen still works after a few tries with the switch. It works pretty good. It does put enough ripple action in the water to make the spread look more realistic on a still morning. You need at least two of them to do it right.

I bought two last year. The switch is not reliable and hard to get at. Not possible with glove. In fact the switch on one failed not long after I bought it. The other one leaked and failed. I only use them as static decoys now. The concept is good but the execution is a fail.
Not worth the money. Just use a jerk string.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dropemdead Great decoy
This decoy is a great addition to any decoy, I received it for christmas and used it that evening, seen much better results from the water movement this decoy created. However, the on/off switch can be difficult to use..
Overall a great decoy and a good buy.

this decoy made a complete difference in my duck hunting. before i bought this, my decoys were still and some of the ducks would flare off. now this decoy puts motion into my whole spread. now i get almost all the ducks right in my face. i will be getting more of these soon!!!

Try the Energizer Lithum 's they are great. They are all I use in my cams now. They are abit pricey but you will make up the difference cause you dont have to change batteries all the time.Top 500 Contributor

John72, I used Pro-grade Duracell last year and forgot to take them out at the end of the season hunt. They still worked this year for about 4 hours.Temperature last year was mid-20's just like this year.
In cold weather, I have the best of luck with Lithium Energizers.
