on my 3rd light....bought one for my Grandson and Brother we use them about 4 nights a week....we live very close to the lake....also great in my boat for stealth fishing....recommend this light....all the members of our fishing club own at least 2....it's not a Club requirement to have one....but don't dare to ask to borrow one!!!!

Light is a little dim, but for Night Fishing for Cats, it works just fine. For $5 you can't go wrong.

The light is very compact, excellent for tying flies or any lures on during low light or dark conditions.
It is also works well for working in similar conditions.
Very inexpensive, light weight and bright.

THE FIRST TIME I USED IT I WAS NIGHT HUNTING FOR COYOTES AND AFTER SEVERAL HOURS OF USING MY BIG LIGHT I WENT OUT,BAD NEWS. BUT I HAD MY NEW CAP LIGHT ON MY HAT SO I TURNED IT ON AND WAS ABLE TO KEEP HUNTING AND COULD SEE QUITE FAR AND A VERY LARGE AREA. NO COYOTES BUT A GREAT LIGHT !

yes...very good....when night fishing I like as little light as possible....easy access to off and on.

Trick is, remembering to put it in the boat or tackle box before you go. It works well for any application.

I would say it would be good only if you were in a boat. You cannot see far when you are walking.
