Quantum Snapshot Series Spinning Reel
Reel Size 10
I have used this for 3 years and have upgraded the pole that it is on twice from a 30 year old Diawa to a Cherry Wood ultra lite. Cast is smooth and retrieve is just as smooth I will pick up another soon. If it brakes tomorrow it owes me nothing as I expected it to be worn out but with oil and good storage it shows no real sign of ware. Used it to troll last week and landed thirty Walleye,Crappie and Channel Cats in a near by lake. I have 15 poles and this one is my first to pick up.

Great concept, but………
As the headline suggests, they have an excellent concept, however, the actual “snapshot” is flawed. I am not sure if the company needs to use a heavier spring for the “snapshot” mechanism or what, but the “snapshot” breaks after 2-3 casts. Sometimes the “snapshot” can be fixed; other times not so much. The concept is great for a person like me (I can only use one arm), but the execution isn’t there.

Quantum Snapshot Spinning Reel
It's not that flipping a bail and pinching a line is difficult, but this does both using one finger. It pinches the line for you and allows ease of release in the cast. I'm not kidding when I say this reel action is my favorite open bail reel ever. Ease of use is ease of cast. I loved it so much that when I couldn't get one at a store, I ordered one online. Use one finger to do it all. I know you can get this action in much more costly reels. This is a great investment for years of fishing and now on two of my rigs.

Poorly put together
I purchased this item in June 30th 2014.
The trigger mechanism failed while spooling new line.. Before I even took the reel out for a test drive..
I managed to put the thing back together.. And as soon as i took the first cast.. It failed again.. I will be returning this item as soon as I get a chance.. Not being close to BPS makes it difficult to return... But I will return it soon..
