A patented trigger system lets anglers cast without ever touching the line. A self-centering mechanism on the reel puts the rotor in a perfect casting position every time. Poorly put together I purchased this item in June 30th 2014. The trigger mechanism failed while spooling new line.. Before I even took the reel out for a test drive.. I managed to put the thing back together.. And as soon as i took the first cast.. It failed again.. I will be returning this item as soon as I get a chance.. Not being close to BPS makes it difficult to return... But I will return it soon.. July 3, 2014
A good purchase As others have written this is a good reel for the price, over time the snap shot part doesn't work as well as it did when first purchased. But for a fast no hassle cast it's just the thing. I have had several of these reels and just ordered another. Good product, good price, who could ask for more. May 26, 2014
Quantum Snapshot Spinning Reel It's not that flipping a bail and pinching a line is difficult, but this does both using one finger. It pinches the line for you and allows ease of release in the cast. I'm not kidding when I say this reel action is my favorite open bail reel ever. Ease of use is ease of cast. I loved it so much that when I couldn't get one at a store, I ordered one online. Use one finger to do it all. I know you can get this action in much more costly reels. This is a great investment for years of fishing and now on two of my rigs. October 4, 2013
great reel ive been using it for about 3 years and have had no problems. i use 12 lb line and i catch cats and sheephead out of lake Erie with it constantly. the only problem i can think of is that it runs out of line from casting because it casts so smooth and i need to add some lenght to it. it reels in smooth and the drag is able to be set easy. it a great reel for the price June 19, 2013
