The Quantum KVD Signature Series Baitcast Reel is designed to allow fine-tuning beyond that of any other high-performance Quantum reel! Its advancements include Dual Cast Control technologies which is an externally adjustable DynaMag magnetic system plus an internal ACS centrifugal system. Other features include a lightweight aluminum frame; 11 stainless steel bearings (including the roller bearing for the Continuous Anti-Reverse); and a convenient flipping switch.
The Quantum Accurist Casting Rod incorporates the latest in technology to deliver superior performance. A lightweight IM8 graphite blank combines sensitivity and power, and aluminum oxide guides increase accuracy and casting distance. Other features include a graphite reel seat that allows you to touch the blank for increased sensitivity, allowing you to feel the slightest bite. A split-grip cork handle offers added comfort for all-day fishing.

Only my second baitcaster ever. I just started using them. The first was used and cheap, almost gave up on them. I started to use this combo and I cannot go back to spincast.The flipping switch is such a great idea! Its sturdy and has a great appearance. Its a great combo and the price is amazing. I definately recommend this combo!

I got a few gift cards for Christmas and bought this combo with one of them. when i got this combo i was amazed at how far this thing would cast, but i kept getting backlashes. i still liked this combo and used it a lot. when i was messing around with it one day, i found the brakes inside the panel on the side that comes off and it was set on 0. after i found that 3rd set of brakes, i got far fewer backlashes, before i found it i would get about 20 backlashes in about 5 hours, now i get 0- maybe 8. it casts like a dream and i would compare it with my 3 johnny morris combos, which cost far more. it pitches and casts like slicing butter with a hot knife. i have three words for any of you who are thinking about getting this combo: GET THIS COMBO!

You can't beat the price. It's too bad I had to go on-line to purchase it. I was at the store, and they did not have any in stock...I drove 125 miles to get there, then I had to pay shipping...Other than that, it was a good deal..
