The Quantum KVD Signature Series Baitcast Reel is designed to allow fine-tuning beyond that of any other high-performance Quantum reel! Its advancements include Dual Cast Control technologies which is an externally adjustable DynaMag magnetic system plus an internal ACS centrifugal system. Other features include a lightweight aluminum frame; 11 stainless steel bearings (including the roller bearing for the Continuous Anti-Reverse); and a convenient flipping switch.
The Quantum Accurist Casting Rod incorporates the latest in technology to deliver superior performance. A lightweight IM8 graphite blank combines sensitivity and power, and aluminum oxide guides increase accuracy and casting distance. Other features include a graphite reel seat that allows you to touch the blank for increased sensitivity, allowing you to feel the slightest bite. A split-grip cork handle offers added comfort for all-day fishing.

i orderd this reel and rod combo for the price and i must say i am a fan of quantum to begain with but i cannot belive this for 100 dollers you cannot go wrong 11 berrings,smooth drag eva knobs dual breaking system and super smooth great line capacity flippen switch! the only down sides, rod only comes in 6.6, i wanted to put this reel on a 7ft or 7.6ft rod for flippen and frogs but wasnt able to in this order, i easily fixed this buy buyin a quantum response 7ft rod for 50 bucks! and as happy as ever with this combo, i got 30 pound braid on there to this reel and both rods are great for flippen pitchin and casting enough backbone,the reel fits perfect in your hand so you can fish comfterble all day. i cant say enough good things about both reel and accurist rod trust me you will NOT find a better reel for 100 dollers and you get a rod!... they dont make this reel no more so quick get a hold of one or two!

I'm glad I spent the extra $$ . This is my first bait cast and I love it. It's easy to use lightweight and durable I've done some practice casts with it and set set up pretty quick. Just waiting on the weather to break in Ohio.

This rod I'd definitely value for money, a great rod at a great price. I have yet to use it as we are under 48 inches of snow in Northern Ontario. I was able to fire a few casts in the garage using the flipping switch and I can't wait to use it....

this combo is a great bargain at this price. this is the second of these reels that i own and for the money they are hard to beat.
