Good Purchase We'll i originally bought the Johnny Morris Elite Series rod and absolutely LOVED it, they only make the signature series rods now and i dont know why.. Anyways ever since my stupid ex GF slammed it in the door n broke it so I purchased this rod in the 7Ft MH action because I love fishing soft plastics. Its a pretty good rod over all there are no major defaults really, I love the rod eye design and how lightweight it is and it pretty thin in diameter. The minor flaws of this rod are that the rod eyes weren't absolutely perfectly aligned on mine and the tip of the pole is ever so slightly curved to the left. It is a sensitive rod, it casts well and it if fairly tough being a shore line fisherman that is essential. I've landed some fat pigs n brought in a 25lb Chinook Salmon with it. Overall a good purchase but I don't think it was of the same quality as my Johnny Morris Elite Series pole. The best of luck to ya! October 8, 2013
EXO Flippin' I bought the flippin' rod about 2 months ago along with a Quantum Tour Edition TE100. So far, so good. Has withstood the rigors of flippin & pitchin well. Light, sensitive and easy to handle. Micro guides are nice but almost too small for big line (I use 20 lb floroucarbon mostly) but they do not hinder the performance. The bait keeper is in a slightly awkward place, it will catch loose line which is a nuisance occasionally. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. April 28, 2012
