I bought this rest to replace my octane rest and am vary suprised with the noise differential. the QAD rest makes no noise and the arrow stays quiet with the fleece material around the arrow holder. I shoot 26 inch arrows with 50 pound pull and 250+ fps. The vanes on my arrow never touch the rest arm when i shoot, hence my shot groups have been greatly reduced. Well worth the money.

I have been shooting QAD rests for 5 years now. Before that I went through just about every rest out there.
This one is just about perfect.
It is full containment- even on letdown.
It provides the benefits of a drop away.
Timing adjustments are easy with a set screw on the thumbwheel (this feature alone is worth EVERY CENT of the price difference between this and the Hunter or LD models).
It is quiet.
It is reliable.
I have installed and helped others install HUNDREDS of this rest.
I have seen only TWO problems total- the first was a defect out of the box, the second was premature wear from improper setup.
The key to this rest is the timing. Unlike traditional drop aways, you want this rest to come up to the full 90 degree position during the last 1/2" of your draw- NO SOONER. The way it is designed, if it comes up sooner, you actually slow the rest down when it drops- that means fletching contact.
If you set it up properly, you can shoot it on any bow at any speed- PERIOD. Anyone who tells you differently doesn't understand how to properly set it up.
I have set it up on multiple bows shooting over 340 fps with no issues whatsoever. Timing is the key.
If you set it up or have it set up properly, you will never shoot another rest.

I replaced my vane killer Whisker Biscuit rest with this QAD Ultra Pro Rest HD and it is AWESOME!!!!!! I have it on my Matthews Reezen 6.5 set at 72 lbs. shooting 284 fps. and do not have any fletching contact at all. My groups have closed up and speed has increased greatly. I would recommend a pro shop install it, so that it is correctly attached to the down cable. My chord was cut short and run through the cable then burnt on the opposite side and it works perfectly. Can't wait to lay the smackdown on a whitetail this season!

This year, I got the 2012 PSE Brute X. It came with a Whisker Biscuit, which I will use this season. However, next year I want to upgrade to a drop away. I really want to get a QAD. My question is if the Ultra Rest HD will fit on a Brute X or Bow Madness. These two bows are very similar, and I know more people have the Bow Madness. I have read that the rest will hit the cable slide on PSE bows. I've also read others that say the HD will work, but the LD will not. I would love to get this rest for next year, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.Answers

Yes it will. So you can stalk or be in your stand and always be ready for the shot. It can also be dropped down to remove the arrow.A:Â

Yes, I have it on an attack and it is superb!A:Â
I believe all rests fit all bows, just some set up better on some bows than others. I own an elite z28 that will accept a QAD, but a drop away rest works better. The QAD's dont seem to set up very well do to the bows riser/shelf.Details:Â
