Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rest. Replaced a Hostage Pro with this rest and it was money well spent. Easy to setup and mount and no more brushes to replace. March 24, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quiet and Super Fast! I just recently upgraded bows from the Bowtech General to the Destroyer 340. For those of you that dont know this bow is super fast! I had the Octane Hostage Pro rest on the General and loved it but was looking at upgrading to a drop away. After countless hours of reading reviews I bought the QAD Ultra Pro HD. Best accessory I have ever bought for bow hunting!. This rest is amazingly simple to set up with the cable clamp, but I opted to have my local pro shop install it directly to the down cable. The talk at the shop was that it would be hard to find a rest that would drop fast enough for this bow. QAD proved that it could hang with the speed. It drops completely out of the way while giving the supporting the arrow for as long as possible. It stays in the up position longer than any other rest out there and still manages to drop at the last second! With the long forks there is no way your arrow will ever fall off so for all you Western hunters that stalk, this is the one for you. It is absolutely quiet and the harmonic dampener is also a plus. with the LDT it does not bounce back at all. Spend the extra 40 bucks and go with HD model you will be as satisfied as I am, I promise. Way to go QAD!!! February 20, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by worth the extra $$$ switched a wisker biscuit out for this rest. spent many a days looking at alot of fall-aways. if your gonna buy a new rest this is the one. February 18, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by No need to search any further! I have tried many rest on my bow and one day came across another person shooting with one of the QAD rest. Just from watching him I was already impressed at the design to not only have the drop away but to also have the retaining bar. I first tried the cheapest of three on my dad's bow at it is a good bit older and slower than mine. The rest worked flawlessly and also increased the arrow speed. I finally ordered this rest for my Bear bow and when I finally got to try it I was really impressed at the more consistently I was shooting. Also I was getting more speed out of my arrows as well. I like being able to make tiny adjustments with the rest instead of having to move the sights all the time. It has worked under all conditions that you would encounter in TN and GA. I have put it through freezing rain and it still works. The thing that I like most about it is that not only does it drop away but it locks down out of the way. This item replaced a Whisker Bisquit Quik Shot and I am so glad I did. Two things you need to do for sure though. Have a second person to help you set it up and make sure you follow the directions. If you do not set it up properly it will be mistimed and you will not have the best of luck with it until you do. So far I have found no downsides to this rest and I really do believe you will not have any need to continue searching after using one of these. January 12, 2010

Yes it will.

You can knock the arrow, and flip the rest up for containment, and it will drop away on the shot.

Works great!

Yes it will. So you can stalk or be in your stand and always be ready for the shot. It can also be dropped down to remove the arrow.

I believe all rests fit all bows, just some set up better on some bows than others. I own an elite z28 that will accept a QAD, but a drop away rest works better. The QAD's dont seem to set up very well do to the bows riser/shelf.

You can go to almost any hardware store and pick up a bit of it. There is nothing special to it other than they have notched it for you.
