GREAT DVD INSTRUCTIONS WITH THIS REST. EASY TO SET UP IF YOU HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OF REST SET UP. I SET IT UP WITH A FRIEND IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES. WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF ADJUSTMENTS I SHOT VERY GOOD ON THE PAPER TUNER. REMEMBER THE PAPER TUNER IS NOT PERFECT SCIENCE AND I WOULD CAUTION YOU TO TUNE YOUR BOW WITH IT AS ANOTHER TOOL. ALWAYS TUNE YOUR BROADHEADS AND ARROWS TO THE BOW. THE BASIC SET UP THEY OUTLINE IS GREAT AND IT MADE MY BOW MUCH QUIETER THAN THE OTHER DROP AWAY I HAD ON THERE. THE THUMB COCKING DEVISE IS A GOOD FEATURE AND THE REST TIMING MARKS HELP A LOT IN SETTING IT UP. THE ONLY PART THAT CONCERNS ME IS THE LAUNCHER PAD IS MADE UP OF A TYPE OF PLASTIC OR NYLON AND I HOPE IT LASTS AS LONG AS AN ALUMINUM ONE WOULD? ONLY TIME WILL TELL.

Tighter groups, higher FPS, more meat in the freezer or trophies from a 3D shoot. Comes with a DVD with installation instructions, but unless you are experienced, let a pro shop put it on. High end products like this need to be fine tuned to operate perfectly.

So far I have used A few different rests. Whisker Bisquits which eventually deform and or rip fletching from the arrows, and the Octane rest which has bristles that melt so fast that you're constantly re-adjusting the rest to compensate until having to pay $10 for replacements and other drop-aways that do not have the full containment capabilities. The QAD Ultra HD Pro has by far superceeded any rest that I have tried! Not only does it have full containment capabilities, but the soft felt on the fork makes it quiet when nocking the arrow. It also adds increased speed and accuracy by having a minimal arrow contact through the arrow release by reducing human error of torching the bow. Other full containment rests can't compare I highly recomend this arrow rest you'll be stacking arrows in no time!

this is an awesome rest. i especially like it that the rest only drops when the bow is fired. you can come to full draw and back down slowly without the rest dropping.

This year, I got the 2012 PSE Brute X. It came with a Whisker Biscuit, which I will use this season. However, next year I want to upgrade to a drop away. I really want to get a QAD. My question is if the Ultra Rest HD will fit on a Brute X or Bow Madness. These two bows are very similar, and I know more people have the Bow Madness. I have read that the rest will hit the cable slide on PSE bows. I've also read others that say the HD will work, but the LD will not. I would love to get this rest for next year, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.Answers

Yes it will. So you can stalk or be in your stand and always be ready for the shot. It can also be dropped down to remove the arrow.

I believe all rests fit all bows, just some set up better on some bows than others. I own an elite z28 that will accept a QAD, but a drop away rest works better. The QAD's dont seem to set up very well do to the bows riser/shelf.Details:Â
