QAD’s newest headliner has all the great features of the Pro HD (including Velocity Drop-Away Technology which ensures the rest falls away only when the bow is fired) plus a sleek, curved capture bar and AVT™ (Advanced Vibration Technology) for a quieter shot. Easy to adjust timing cord allows you to fine tune your shot. Built from precision CNC aluminum and stainless steel. Vertical, horizontal, and overdraw adjustments.

QAD drop away rest I am using the QAD arrow rest on my Ross Crave DRT, and what a combination! My wife has imposed a rule, I can now shot only one arrow per target; those Robin Hood's are too expensive. I have used a QAD on my last three bows without a single fault. The drop away is the way to go, easier to tune, and less parasitic drag (lost arrow speed). September 30, 2012
Doesn't Fit PSE Stinger 3G I was really upset about this. I purchased this rest a while ago for my Mathew's Z7 and had to sell it to pay for college. Ended up buying a PSE Stinger 3G and then bought this rest. I tried to put in on myself and couldn't get it to fit, I went to a dealer (who has been working on bows for 35+ years) and he called me back saying that he couldn't get it to fit at all. Really sad that the rest I trust cannot be used...Just a heads up. September 25, 2012
Well worth the money I decided to take my bow in for a tune up, got new strings etc... Also in the market for a new drop away, well, the guy at the counter talked me into this one in no time at all. I decided to impulse buy. Well, I am glad I did. I have def. increase my accuresy by two folds. I had good groupings now i have great groupings and no signs of it hitting the rest upon release. Def. worth the money! September 3, 2012
Best rest ever This the only rest you will need, I shoot bow fishing arrows and carbon with this no problem. Now that iv started using this my groups are on a quarter. I have to shoot at different spots on my block just so I don't destroy fletchings. This rest improves your shots b/c your more consistent. Worth the money. The only difference with the pro is that it has the bone collector symbol on the side and it's camo, not a need. All in all a really bad to the bone rest. June 30, 2012

I dont see any major difference other than the curved vs. straight capture bar and the fact that one is black and one is camo. Why is there such a price difference?

Not much difference just looks. The HDX has a curved capture bar and the launcher is slightly different. It has the same harmonic dampener, but comes in a whole bunch of differenct colors.
