I have not tried the call in the woods yet but practicing at home it seems a little difficult to use especially to get different sounds (clucks, chirps). I bought the call specifically to use in wet weather conditions when my other calls just do not work.

This is not my main call but more of a backup to my Lynch World Champion. It doesn't sound quite as nice as the Lynch but is quite decent.
I have the standard Hurricane as well as the Supreme and the Supreme really seems to have a nicer feel to it as well as simply appearing better made. It's machined out of a single block of Black Walnut instead of the lighter, more cheap-feeling birch (or whatever the standard model is made from). I spoke with a representative of Quaker Boy and asked several questions about it and he indicated that the Supreme has a newer type of friction material that's designed to last longer. If it does ever wear off, he said they will either fix it for you or send a packet of the solution to "re-paint" the friction surfaces. This one is going in my vest in case of "fowl" weather... :)
