Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not to my standards Scope was bright and clear from 3 to 8 power with nice field of view. From 8 to 12 power the view got more cloudy/fuzzy the higher you advanced the power. Could barely see through the scope at 12 power. Tried to adjust focus and eye relief with no improvement. October 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Saved Hundreds I'll start by saying that I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." I've heard that to be especially true when it comes to buying a scope... I went into our local Bass Pro wanting to buy a nice riflescope for a Savage .243. My goal was to spend around $500 and, in return, have great optics that would allow me to reach out to 450 yards max. The gun/setup will be used for hunting, but mostly target fun. Admittedly, I'm a little bit of a brand snob and had planned on splurging on a Leupold VX3 or Zeiss Terra. I was amazed when the salesperson let me look through the Leup, Zeiss, and Pursuit (which he recommended). Look, I'm not saying the Leup and Zeiss aren't better scopes - they are. What I am saying is that if you're the everyday sportsman like myself, then you will be PLEASED to purchase this scope and save $350. The differences are minute. I also looked through a comparable Bushnell and Nikon. Even putting costs aside, they were easily outdone by the Pursuit. Sighting in was a breeze and the setup is now a tack-driver with plenty of eye relief. Don't be scared by the price - this is a quality optic! August 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Exceptional for price! Very pleased with the performance of the 6-24x44 PursuitX1 I had purchased. It has one of the finest reticles I have used and the clarity of these optics compare and in some cases are beyond the quality of much more costly optics. Turret adjustments return positively/repeatedly thus far from ranges out to 550 yds. and back again. I have been shooting it on a 6mm taget rifle with excellent results. When comparing to some of my high end optics....it is difficult to justify the hundreds of dollars more I have spent for that "name brand" on some of them. I will buy another with the confidence of the warranty they offer. The reason for 4 instead of 5 star rating is I have not tested it in extreme cold weather as of yet. June 12, 2013

A:
I have directly compared these to Vortex as I own and use both.
As far as optical clarity/brightness, very good so far...as far as price point...the Pursuit has a definite advantage.

Pleased with X1 6-24 I'm currently shooting on a 6mm target rifle, I will buy and try a 3-12 next

Depending on how you plan to use the scope, but I think the Vortex Diamondback line is some of the best scopes on the market for the money.
