I purchased this set of binos prior to a mule deer hunt in central Nebraska, the sandhills. They were increadibly helpfull while hunting. Withstood the abuse of alot of walking, stalking and crawling. Good clear optics, great eye relief. I bought the
8x42 so I could use them out of a tree stand back in Iowa (which is where I hunt most) and still believed they were adequate for magnification out in the open sandhills. They worked so well that after the first day I stopped dragging around the spotting scope I had recently bought and just used the binocs. Saw deer every day partly becuase of the the good binocs. I have made bad purchase decisions in the past and paid stupid tax but definitely not this time. Good product, good purchase.
