Whether you want a spare prop or need to upgrade your current prop, you won't find one better than Propco®. Whether in aluminum or stainless steel (SS), these Propco®-designed props and metals undergo strenuous testing. The Propco® 4-blade props (4B) provide far superior handling in pleasure and performance boating. Unless otherwise noted, props are 3-blade aluminum with right-hand rotation and are thru-hub exhaust.

  • Great as a spare or as an upgrade
  • Undergo rigorous testing
  • Unless otherwise noted, props are 3-blade aluminum with right-hand rotation with thru-hub exhaust
  • Click Product Description below chart for additional details

If you are currently using uncupped propellers, use cupped propellers with 2" less pitch. Boats with power trim may use same pitch. 4-blade aluminum gives better hole shot, less torque on steering, better boat handling, lower planing speeds, more power, and smoother running.

Repeat Customer I now have 7 PropCo props for my main and kicker and couldn't be happier. I did goof on ordering one pitch. I called PropCo and spoke with them about my mistake(I take accountability for my mistake). They offered to re-pitch the prop for 30 dollars. Prop was back within 5 days and in use again. No they aren't polished and shiny. Yes, they are heavier than others. All of my aluminum units are flat black and very rugged! When I tear them up in the rocks I will still make it back to the dock and order another from them again. August 1, 2013
Worked Great For Me I just used this last week on my 1988 17' Bass Tracker with a 1988 45 hp Mercury for a 4 day camping trip on a small island. Everywhere we went was by boat. It's as good a prop as any I've used in over 30 years of boating. All I care about is that is works great and it does. It was a bonus that I received it in 4 days. May 11, 2013
Junk I am just glad that I was able to return it! Bass Pro took care of me. Propco needs to address a quality control issue. November 16, 2010
poor quality construction looked and felt very poor. but to be fair i cant rate how it ran because i returned it immediatley. it looked nothing like the picture of which i ordered and went with another companies prop. July 5, 2010

Theoretically, a prop with a larger pitch would give you a faster top end speed. However, it will also be more taxing on the fuel economy of your boat.

Because there are a lot of factors influencing the speed and performance of your vessel's motor, I would speak with the boat manufacturer directly to see what they would recommend. They should be able to assist you in getting more top end speed from your boat.

What propeller do I need

Details:
I tried to get all the numbers off the current propeller.

I've got a Mariner Magnum 40 seriel 06417820.

Numbers on the existing prop:
PN4062y
Propo 12p
Propco 16p
Engine 18871-C

I'm looking for a good all around prop for the pontoon. Given the choice I'd take speed over accelleration...

To determine the correct prop you will need to know the diameter and pitch. Below are a few options to fit your 60 HP 4-Stroke Mercury:

Item number 21-524-310- plus code number below”
Diameter/Pitch = Code
12” x 10” =22
12” x 11” = 23
10-3/8” x 12” = 24
10-3/8” x 13” = 25
10-3/8” x 14” = 26
10” x 15” = 27
10” x 16” = 28

You are advertising Propco props made with composite materials. Are these the kind of composite props on which the blades are replaceable? Also, do you have something close to 13.5 x 17" for my Evinrude E-tec 60hp?

A:
No, the blades are not replaceable on the prop. The Propco Props are made from either an aluminum or stainless steel (ss) material. Item number 38-524-300-61 will fit a 1968 thru current year 60 HP with a 13-1/4” diameter and 17” pitch. I hope this helps. Thanks

I am looking for a spare prop for a 2010 8 hp 4-stroke. I don't see this hp listed. What size would you recommend? Are there any choices in this size? Are there 4-blades for this motor?

(I'm in the city and the motor is up north, otherwise I'd read the size off the present prop.)
