I use this product every week, and I love it. If I am out on the water at the right times of day i catch multiple+ large blue crab at a time. The only down fall is the thing is super light weight. I use some old 2 1/2lb weights I had at the house to make it sink to the bottom other wise the current will carry it away.

Does what it says. Haven't caught a crawfish but seems to work well for fish. Decent purchase for the money.

place bait on the inside center of trap. You can use several methods...zip tie or tie on a bait cage made from steel wire or nylon mesh. For crawfish I use a chicken leg and a small can of cat food. Be sure whatever you use it's attached to inside of trap. The crabs or crawfish enter from one of 2 sides. They walk up a small hill of mesh and drop down into trap. The entrance is open just enough for small crab and crawfish to enter. They don't get out because of the opposing panel of mesh just above it.
The trap comes with a bait bag, you put your bait in the bag and set this in the water. The crab or other bait will find the holes to crawl through, one on each end of the trap, once they get through the hole they are not able to climb out.
